Preventive protection practice path for controlled environments in national-level archives repositories—A case study of Second Historical Archives of China
Zhu Qingqing,Shao Huaxia,Su Zhou
Based on the preventive protection mechanism of the controlled environment for archive preservation, this paper systematically explores the core elements and technical paths for environmental control in archives repositories.Taking the practical approach of the Second Historical Archives of China (a national-level archives) as an example, this study conducts analysis from dimensions such as the optimization of thermal parameters of building envelopes, the setting of environmental temperature and humidity control thresholds, and the configuration of cold and heat source systems. Moreover,it focuses on researching key technical measures including outdoor air centralized treatment systems, terminal air conditioning system design, and air purification treatment. This study can provide theoretical foundations and engineering practice references for the construction of environmental control systems in similar archives buildings.
